This Global Digital Stories blog is a collaboration between Dr. Sheila Marie Aird, Associate Professor, European Academic Programs Director for the Center for International Education, and Dr. Thomas P. Mackey, Professor of Arts and Media, both at SUNY Empire State University.

Tom and Sheila co-design and co-teach Digital Storytelling as a virtual exchange among students pursuing degrees at Empire State University from around the world. While this flexible model primarily connects students from the United States and Prague, Czech Republic, it has also included learners from such locations as Canada and Tirana, Albania. Their work together includes co-teaching Digital Storytelling as well as collaborating on related presentations, publications, and an edited book project for Rowman & Littlefield.
